Adélie - CD

A physical CD copy of my second album Adélie with an accompanying booklet. Each song and tune on the album is my own composition, with several of the songs written to one of the monthly briefs from Shrewsbury Songwriters, the monthly songwriting meetup group I run at Floro Lounge in Shrewsbury. Every track on the album reflects part of my thoughts and feelings, covering several different aspects.

Apart from percussion (wonderfully performed by Chris Wright), I play all instruments on the album, with Guitar, Bouzouki, Fiddle and Chin-Cello (Cello tuning on a Viola body) all making an appearance. For Fisherman’s Story, I also recorded a soundscape at Kennall Vale, a small nature reserve in Cornwall, capturing babbling brooks and beautiful birdsong from this idyllic woodland.

The album was recorded at Sirens Studio in Falmouth by Laura Beard and Willow Collins. I mixed the album (which was my first rodeo!) and it was mastered by Pete Maher.
